An award of £3000 towards Stir It Up, our community training kitchen, will help Giraffe in two key ways. Firstly, it will enable us to provide more job-seekers with a much wider range of work opportunities and training in commercial catering skills that are attractive to local employers. Secondly, an award will be of critical importance in helping Giraffe maintain its excellent track record in continuing to diversify our business and develop sustainable income streams after the award is finished.

South Street Shop Refurbishment

sthstreetheaderWe’d like to thank our customers for their patience while we did a little refurbishment of our South Street Shop and Cafe. The shop has a fresh look after moving the serving counter to the door and knocking a hole in our wall to make a direct link to our training kitchen.

The menu has also changed and our soup and sandwich deal has proved very popular with our customers.
